If you want to give your legs a break from the bumps, jumps, and ski boots, but still want some action, visit Colorado Adventure Park in Fraser! This tubing hill is perfect for all ages and you won’t even have to break a sweat. Just jump on the magic carpet and relax while you and your tube are pulled up the hill. In between runs enjoy hot cocoa, a beer, or wine in the warming hut, or make a s’more by the fire outside.
Ice Fishing:
If you are missing fishing, you are in the right place! Grab a permit and your fly rod and hit the Fraser River, or the Colorado River. There are spots that don’t freeze over, just don’t trust the ice. Or, try your hand at ice fishing on Lake Granby or Grand Lake. If you have never done it before, enlist the help of a local outfitter and get expert advice and equipment.
